# Pie chart

> Visualize your data with a pie chart

Use `/pie` to show how a total breaks down across categories.

## How to use

1. Type `/pie` and press **Space**.
2. Describe the breakdown — for example, *"deals by stage"* or *"revenue by product"*.
3. Grapple creates the chart and navigates you to it.

Or pick **Create from View** to build a chart from an existing view.

## Tips

* Works best with a small number of categories.
* Wait for materialization to reach **up to date** before the chart loads data.
